    Here’s the honest truth: it’s not enough for the surface to look dry. Water that’s gotten behind drywall or into insulation can sit there holding moisture long after the puddle is gone, and that’s exactly the environment mold needs. Once we spot moisture like that, the plan is straightforward — stabilize the area, get proper drying equipment running, and reassess in 24 to 48 hours once we know how deep it actually goes.
